MINACHAT ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MINACHAT mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address, display name, username, profile photo, age range, and gender interest preference.
• User Content: Messages sent to AI characters, characters you create (name, personality, avatar), personas, scenes, and group chat configurations.
• Communication Data: Feedback, support requests, or other communications you send to us.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
• Usage Data: Features used, interaction counts, session duration, search queries (anonymized), and in-app navigation patterns.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, and crash/error reports.
• Firebase Analytics: Anonymized event data for app performance and feature usage analysis.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: When you authenticate via Google or Apple, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL as authorized by you.
• Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging token for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service — including AI character conversations, voice calls, image generation, and content creation features.
• Personalize your experience — tailor character recommendations, affinity progression, and content based on your preferences and interaction history.
• Improve the Service — analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Communicate with you — send push notifications (e.g., character messages, daily streak reminders, proactive engagement) and service updates.
• Ensure safety and security — detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users (especially minors).
• Process transactions — manage in-app purchases and Spark balance.

3. AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated text, images, and voice content are created in real-time and may be stored as part of your conversation history.
• Conversation memory (summaries, core facts) is derived from your messages to maintain continuity and is stored securely.
• We do not use your private conversations to train AI models.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Conversation data is stored in Firebase Firestore with user-specific access controls.
• Local data on your device is stored in an encrypted Room database.
• We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• AI Service Providers: Message content sent to licensed AI providers for response generation.
• Image Generation Providers: Text prompts sent to licensed image generation services for creating character avatars.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Firebase (Google) for authentication, storage, database, and analytics.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MINACHAT and its users.

6. Age Requirement

• Users must confirm they are 18 or older during onboarding.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly and terminate the account.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update: You can view and edit your profile information within the app (Settings → Edit Profile).
• Delete Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Delete Account). This action is irreversible.
• Notification Preferences: Control push notifications in Settings → Notifications.
• Conversation Data: You can archive or delete individual conversations.
• Data Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
• Withdraw Consent: You may stop using the Service at any time. Deleting the app does not delete your account — use the in-app deletion feature.

8. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Upon account deletion, all personal data, conversations, created characters, and associated content are permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymized analytics data may be retained for improving the Service.
• Data required for legal compliance may be retained as necessary.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Google Cloud's compliance with international data protection standards.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
